The Gale Virtual Reference Library is Available 24/7

You might have noticed that our print reference collection is a little smaller than it used to be. Don’t worry, though, many reference titles are now available online 24/7 through the Gale Virtual Reference Library. The collection includes reference books in digital form on a variety of topics from business to science to education and more. There is an especially large collection of literature reference and literary criticism.

To access the reference library, click on the “Research” button on the gray menu bar on our website. Scroll down to the “General Reference, Magazines and Newspapers” section and click the Gale Virtual Reference Library link. You will be able to conduct searches or browse the collection by subject or book title. You can also download articles to your e-reader, bookmark articles to read later, and save your searches. See the instructional video and other helpful how-to information by clicking on the “Help Guide” in the middle of page. If you have questions, please call a librarian at 205.332.6624. Enjoy!
