Fifty Shades Darker
I still don’t get why people are making such a fuss over the Fifty Shades series. I finished the 2nd book and didn’t find it “darker”. I didn’t plow through it. I read a few pages here and there. A chapter or two when I was bored and then I was finished. Am I going to read the 3rd book? Yes. I’m in deep, baby. Hey, how many times can a guy say that as adult he finished reading a whole series of something he didn’t want to read?
Ok, on to Darker. As I stated I didn’t think it was darker unless you include all of the drama of being in a relationship. I wouldn’t call it darker, just a lot of young folks' drama. I can’t speak on the sex because I skipped it. I mean, how many times can a man moan/growl low in his throat, make someone take their panties off in a strange place, or ravage his lover’s body? I mean we get it, or those of us who have gotten it get it. . .get it?
Dude has money to spend, she loves him, he loves her, are they enough for one another? Maybe, maybe not. Enter stage left, Elena who taught Christian all he knows about kinky sex and Ana’s crazy just-fired boss. Two people out for revenge in Fifty Shades Freed.
I will admit that I tried some wine mentioned in the book -- hated it.
