Focus on Fiction ...Vampires!

Do you like books with a lot of bite?  The vampire is one of the oldest creatures in literature.  Over the past years, vampires have gained a large following.    Here are some titles that give a new twist to a classic character.

Rose Hathaway is a Dhampir, a bodyguard for her best friend Lissa, a Moroi Vampire Princess. They’ve been on the run, but now they’re being dragged back to St. Vladimir’s—the very place where they’re most in danger. . . .

Last Breath (The Morganville Vampires #11) by Rachel Caine

She soon discovers that the last person seen with one of the missing vampires is someone new to town-a mysterious individual named Magnus. After an uneasy encounter with Morganville's latest resident, Claire is certain Magnus isn't merely human. But is he a vampire-or something else entirely?
